The RTFOT is designed to evaluate the effect of heat and air on a moving film of asphaltic semi-solid materials.

Built with a robust stainless-steel external frame and internal chamber, the oven features an insulated rock wool intermediate layer to ensure stable thermal performance.

The rotating plate operates at 15 ± 0.2 rpm, and a large glass inspection door allows operators to safely monitor the test.
The oven must be connected either to a 2-bar air compressor or to a diaphragm pump (available as an accessory).

The unit is supplied complete with:

• Flow meter
• Precision digital thermostat maintaining 163°C
• ASTM 13C control thermometer
• Ventilation device
• Eight Ø 64×140 mm glass containers

A dual safety thermostat prevents accidental overheating and ensures maximum operator safety.
