This instrument is used to break and crumble asphalt samples to facilitate bulk density tests and laboratory testing purposes by reducing the granulating time in few minutes with high quality results.

A rough asphalt sample of approx. 1 kg is poured into the stainless steel bowl equipped, at its bottom, with three rotating paddles. The cover is closed, the machine started, and the three paddles break and crumble the sample in grains.
The bowl is now tilted to discharge the sample into the self supporting
suitable pan supplied with.
A hinged cabinet reducing noise protects the bowl. When opening the cover while the splitter is working, a microswitch automatically stops the machine. Conforming to CE Safety Directive.
